Speed isn't a feature. It's the first impression.

Before visitors see your content, they feel how fast your site opens. A slow page hurts both users and Google's ranking signals — and part of your ad budget disappears with the people who give up waiting.

We audit your current site against Core Web Vitals, find the bottlenecks one by one and fix them. If it makes sense, we move the site to a lighter, hand-coded stack.

In short

Mallow Studio measures and improves Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), optimising images, fonts, third-party scripts and caching so pages load fast even on mobile.

  • Field and lab measurements
  • Image, font and video optimisation
  • Third-party script cleanup
  • Migration to a coded stack when needed

Measure

We measure first

Data, not guesses

We assess against Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds: the largest content should appear within 2.5 seconds (LCP), interactions should respond within 200 milliseconds (INP) and layout shift should stay below 0.1 (CLS).

  • Separate mobile and desktop measurements
  • Starting with your highest-traffic pages
  • Before-and-after comparisons

Fix

Then we simplify

Every kilobyte has to earn its place

Most speed problems come from a few oversized images, too many font weights and dozens of scripts added over time. We tackle them in order and rewrite page templates when needed.

  • Priority for the hero image, lazy loading for the rest
  • Font subsetting and preload
  • Posters for video and play-on-visible

Frequently asked questions

What are Core Web Vitals?

They're the three metrics Google uses to measure page experience: LCP (largest content load time, good is under 2.5 s), INP (responsiveness to interactions, good is under 200 ms) and CLS (visual stability, good is under 0.1).

Can you speed up my current site, or do we need to rebuild?

In most cases the current site can be improved significantly. After the audit we present both options with their costs: optimising the current setup or moving to a lighter one.

Does speed affect SEO rankings?

Page experience is one of Google's ranking signals; it isn't decisive on its own but it makes a difference between similar pages. The bigger impact is on users: faster pages see lower bounce rates and higher conversions.

Does this work for WordPress sites too?

Yes. Plugin cleanup, image conversion, caching and theme fixes can make a clear difference on WordPress as well.
